Insights
- Awareness of COVID-19 symptoms and best practices was high
- Key challenges included an increase in household chores, particularly for girls. Smaller numbers reported economic anxiety, increase in domestic conflict.
- Access to reproductive health services was interrupted, with low awareness that FLWs could provide contraceptives during the lockdown
- Half of all girls report unmet need for sanitary napkins
- Significant numbers reported accessing mental health services, and were satisfied with services provided. However, many of these are informal services, such as talking to friends.
