Criteria for membership

Development practitioners/institutions will gain the most from becoming a member of the PULSE for Development community of practice as it facilitates learning from each others’ projects and experiences as well as facilitates coordination and  collaboration on development challenges. Members should meet the following criteria.

Mandatory

  • Have actively worked in the development sector in India in the past two years.
  • Are a public official at the district, state, or national levels; or
  • Are welfare/development focused organisations at the district, state, national or international levels either on a non-profit or for-profit basis;
  • Are leading/coordinating projects at the district, state, national or international levels either on a non-profit or for-profit basis; or
  • Are involved in or leading policy or relevant research projects in India.

It is also important to note that we will be unable to accept membership applications of:

  • Students.
  • Members of the public.
  • Media organisations/journalists.
  • Public relations organisations/professionals.
  • Lobbying organisations/staffers.
