Precision Agriculture for Development supports smallholder farmers in different states in India. We are currently collecting phone surveys on challenges faced during the lockdown (agriculture farmers, fisheries farmers, agrodealers) and will collect information on COVID-related knowledge and behaviors.
We are also supporting our government partners in collecting data that can help them get insight into the situation on the ground and understand the needs of farmers in real-time. In some states we work with state governments, where we will be aggregating and dissemminating information on government responses particularly in the agriculture sector (for eg: on disrupted markets).
