MHT, with the support of BofA, is working to empower poor women and girls to create sustainable sanitation practices and ensure investments from communities to provide universal sanitation coverage. It is observed that with lack of space in urban slums, dignity, safety, health, education of adolescent girls, is compromised to great extent. This programme aims to cover slum settlements in Ahmedabad city, and extend household (HH) level sanitation to the slum households where lead would be taken by women and girl leaders empowered on the issue.
