As an organization working in education (early literacy and girls education), our efforts will be to respond to the educational needs of children and girls and prevent loss of learning. Young children (early graders) and girls are likely to be most affected during such crisis and are the earliest to be withdrawn from schools. We are specifically looking at the following interventions:
1. Making available digital books through web/mobile to parents and children
2. Developing e-content on early literacy and life skills for training of teachers and education officials; the content to be housed in government websites as well as distributed through WhatsApp groups
3. Developing an early literacy kit with a set of activities that children can engage with at home
4. Phone-based mentoring and life skills inputs to adolescent girls
