Oxford Policy Management (India) is the recipient of a learning grant on frontline health workers. We have adapted our ongoing work on FLWs to generate evidence on the health systems’ response to COVID-19. At present, we are exploring the role of frontline health workers in the health systems’ response to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. We have reviewed select policy guidelines and material on the role of FLWs in the COVID-19, and undertaken informal discussions with FLWs in Bihar, Rajasthan, and Jharkhand to understand better how these guidelines have translated into activities on the ground.
