Central Square Foundation has been working with the government, supporting MHRD and states to use EdTEch to aid education delivery. The team is working to strengthen the implementation of the DIKSHA app. Digital content on the DIKSHA app can be easily accessed on mobile phones through QR codes on textbooks. CSF, in partnership with Google.org is also enhancing the content on DIKSHA by adding high quality digital content for Mathematics and Science in five languages (Hindi, English, Telugu, Odia and Marathi).
Further, CSF is enabling EdTech at home by providing direct support to parents and children via the Top Parent app that has been incubated at CSF. Top Parent is a first-of-its-kind free-of-cost mobile app that empowers parents with knowledge, language and strategies around child development to help them meaningfully engage with their children. TopParent builds parents’ skills as educators by providing simple day to day solutions via videos and games and recommending easy and cost-free digital solutions for their children’s learning needs.
