Across the remote rural pockets of India (where PRADAN operates), in collaboration with government, local administration and other CSOs, PRADAN is already engaged in activities including awareness generation drives; ration distribution; mobilizing safety essentials; ensuring access to entitlements; running community kitchen; tracking migrants’ movement and facilitating their screening/tests; and managing quarantine centers, among others.
Another major intervention by PRADAN includes facilitation of MGNREG work in Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal.
PRADAN also started an initiative called ‘Veggies on Wheels’ to revive the supply chain and help farmers sell the agri- produce in markets with help of district administration.
