Study Report, ‘Strengthening the Discourse for Public Provisioning of Secondary Education for Girls through Research and Evidence’

Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability

While NEP 2020 talks about universalisation of school education from 3-18 years, effective implementation of that has cost implications. This report particularly looks at public provisioning of secondary education for girls. It examines the present status of public financing for secondary education, focusing on girls and also reflects upon the budgetary implication of free and incentivized public secondary education to all girls.
