Mental Health Symptoms during the COVID-19 Lockdown

Results of a survey of households in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, around mental health symptoms during the lockdown.


Findings: - 2 our of 5 participants reported mental health symptoms - Those more at risk of experiencing mental health symptoms include: Households where members have lost their income, HHs with financial resources to last under a fortnight, HHs with fewer number of rooms in the house, migrant HHs where a family member has not returned home, women who experienced violence during the lockdown
