Founded in 2016, Young Leaders for Active Citizenship (YLAC) aims to increase the participation of young people in the policymaking process and build their capacity to lead change.
We run interventions in cities across India to help young people broaden their perspective, think critically about their socio-political construct, tap their leadership potential and acquire skills to create long lasting impact. YLAC has a large alumni base – a network of young leaders, both students and professionals, across cities in India and Nepal who are passionate about using their knowledge, skills and privilege to drive change in the communities they live in.
